Die Forged Hydraulic Crane Wheels - AISI 4140 Steel Wheel Blanks
Wheel blanks for hydraulic cranes forged from AISI 4140 alloy steel. The Cr-Mo alloy provides excellent hardenability (oil-quench critical diameter 80 mm). Die forging ensures a dense microstructure with no laps at the rim-hub transition. After quenching and tempering, hardness reaches 28–32 HRC with tensile strength ≥900 MPa. Suitable for 50–200-ton hydraulic crane travel wheels, capable of bearing heavy and impact loads.
