Precision Bright Surface Steel Round Bar – SAE4340 & SAE1045 (Die Forged)
Round bars made from SAE4340 alloy structural steel and SAE1045 medium carbon steel, formed by die forging and precision ground to a bright finish. SAE4340 contains nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloying elements and offers excellent hardenability (oil-quench critical diameter ≥70 mm). Die-forged SAE1045 provides optimized grain flow and improved fatigue resistance. Dimensional tolerances are controlled within ±0.03 mm, making them suitable for high-strength, high-finish components such as aerospace bolts and heavy-duty machinery shafts.
