Precision Die Forged Stainless Steel Round Bars - ASTM 316/416 Bright Ground for Turbine Shafts
Round bars made from ASTM 316 austenitic stainless steel and 416 free-machining stainless steel, precision die-forged and bright-ground for turbine-shaft applications. 316 provides molybdenum-enhanced corrosion resistance, while sulfur-alloyed 416 offers excellent machinability and wear resistance. Die forging optimizes grain flow and improves fatigue strength to ≥400 MPa. Surface finish reaches Ra0.8 with dimensional tolerance of ±0.02 mm, suitable for high-speed rotating components such as aircraft engine turbine shafts and chemical turbomachinery.
